• Annual Fund and Alumni Engagement Coordinator - Hunting Valley Campus

  ÐÓ°ÉÔ­´´ is seeking an Annual Fund and Alumni Engagement Coordinator. 
  
  

  The Coordinator will be a vital member of our Annual Fund and Alumni Relations teams whose efforts engage more than 6,000 living alums living all over the world and conduct one of the largest annual giving among independent day schools in the country.

   

  Responsibilities include:

  • Working with the Annual Fund team to plan and successfully execute the Annual Fund each year.
  • Assisting in the planning and execution of volunteer recruitment, training, and support for parent and alumni volunteers, ensuring active engagement throughout the Annual Fund cycle.
  • Working with the Director of the Annual Fund to plan and manage outreach events and donor recognition events (e.g., the Tower Society Reception and Maroon and Black Reception).
  • Assisting with planning, preparation, and execution of Annual Fund appeals and correspondence including solicitations, stewardship, and impact reports.

  Qualified candidates will have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred.
  • Successful fundraising, event planning, and/or related experiences, preferred.
  • Strong analytical and computer skills; demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with The Raiser’s Edge or similar fundraising/CRM database system.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Must be able to work weekends and evenings for required events

• Athletic Trainer - Hunting Valley Campus

  ÐÓ°ÉÔ­´´ is seeking a dedicated and experienced Certified Athletic Trainer to oversee injury prevention, diagnosis, and treatment for students who compete for one of our 13 interscholastic athletic programs.  This is a 12-month position that will work closely with Upper School Administration, the Athletic Department, health care professionals, varsity coaches, and the school nurse to promote the safety and well-being of all students.

• Bus Driver - Hunting Valley Campus

  ÐÓ°ÉÔ­´´ is seeking an experienced bus driver (full-time at min. 30 hours per week) to start the end of July.

   

  Bus driving may consist of +-any combination of the following: morning and afternoon routes, daily shuttles between campuses, possible day field trips and athletic events for sporting events during the week and/or weekends.

   

  Bus drivers require a current Class B CDL with School Bus and Passenger Endorsements, current ODE Pre-service certificate, pass on Drug Test, BMV records with no more than four points, ability to pass T-8 physical, and ability to lift seventy-five pounds or more in case of emergency.

• Food Service Associates - Hunting Valley Campus & Shaker Heights Campus

  ÐÓ°ÉÔ­´´ is seeking candidates for ÐÓ°ÉÔ­´´ Food Service team at both the Hunting Valley and Shaker Heights Campuses.
  
  The candidate will be cross trained in the kitchen/dining room area, as every position is important to run a solid food service.

• Maintenance Generalist Technician - Hunting Valley Campus

  UNIVERSITY SCHOOL is seeking a Maintenance Generalist Technician for the Hunting Valley Campus.
  
  

  The Maintenance Generalist Technician performs various facilities maintenance duties, including but not limited to performing prescribed maintenance and repairs on small equipment, motors, and pumps. Works closely with the Mechanic and HVAC Technician. Also responsible for the general maintenance of the Hunting Valley Campus working in conjunction with the entire Facilities Department.
  
  

  Major responsibilities include:

  • Performing routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on small motors, pumps, and equipment such as grounds tools, custodial machinery, and utility systems.
  • Assisting the Mechanic and HVAC Technician with diagnostics, part replacement, and preventative maintenance tasks.
  • Troubleshooting and repairing minor electrical issues including lighting, switches, outlets, and small control systems.
  • Supporting campus-wide operations including furniture moves, setups for events, and snow removal as needed.

  • Ability to operate efficiently the following tools: electric drills, hammers, wrenches, pipe cutters, metal cutters, benders, pressure gauges, volt meters, etc.
  • Knowledge of building automation systems, HVAC, schedule lighting, and doors.
  • Basic electrical knowledge for repairs and installations.
  • Training / experience on small equipment motors and pumps.
  • Must be able to work overtime in the evenings and weekends as required.
