Founded in 1890, ÐÓ°ÉÔ´´ is a nationally recognized all-boys college preparatory school serving 850 students. We are located on two campuses in Ohio's Greater Cleveland area. Our faculty are invested in every boy's interests and abilities, his mental and emotional health, as well as his academic performance. We believe that when a boy is encouraged in a caring environment, there are no limits to what he can do. To help support these meaningful connections, our average class size is 13, and we maintain a 7:1 student-to-teacher ratio.
We take pride in our accomplished teachers of diverse backgrounds and experiences. We have 114 full-time and 3 part-time faculty members, with 75% holding advanced degrees. In 2025, the average tenure of a faculty member at US is 10 years.
Our students are accomplished academically, athletically, and artistically. In 2025, the National
Merit Scholarship Program recognized 27 ÐÓ°ÉÔ´´ seniors, with 14 earning Commended status and 13 being named Finalists. Our athletic teams often compete at the state and national level. In 2025,
US Swimming & Diving won its fourth straight state championship,
US Baseball played in the very close state championship game, and
US Squash won its fourth national title. The
Scholastic Art & Writing Competition honored 49 US students with an amazing 86 awards in 2025.
